Angel Sanchez used such diverse fabrics at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week for his Fall/Winter 2015 runway show. Fabrics such as leather, vinyl, neoprene, and wool made for a great “experiment”. It seems that he looks at evening wear in a more modern way, using 70’s inspiration and mixing it with today’s culture. The tailoring is flawless. All of the models wore their hair in slick back pony tails with very minimal makeup, except for the dramatic eye. This helped to keep the garments the center of the show. There is one thing that is guaranteed when watching his shows–elegance and architectural silhouettes.

The brass jewelry on this one is what drew my attention. It was styled perfectly. I also enjoyed the “wearableness” of this piece. Instead of sandals, throw this one with a pair of black booties and you’ll be ready to go.

I love the geometric design of this dress. The women that decides to wear this will definitely not be afraid to take some fashion risks. The way the chiffon flows down the runway is fabulous.

I love this coat dress! Different textures make an all black ensemble more interesting.  I would absolutely love to see some women rocking this piece down the streets of Madison. To put it simply, it’s perfect for fall and winter.

The cut “car-wash” pleats on this skirt add a touch of edgy to the simple sleeveless turtleneck. The monochromatic styling is also very interesting to me. The pop of color in the shoes really makes this design stand out.

The the deep plunging V neck on this one is very unique, but there is something about it that just works. I don’t know if it is the thick straps, the laser cut leather or the asymmetrical waist.  All of the details make for a showstopping dress.

I was happy to see some metallic with this one! I think it adds the perfect amount of drama to the wide leg trousers. When you are going wide on the bottom, keep it fitted on top.  Add a blazer to this one and it will create the perfect Fall work look.
