Francesca Liberatore’s SS 2016 show at NYFW was full of glitz and glamour. The designer’s elegant designs blazed forth down the runway with such ease. Using orange as an accent color in many pieces created a beautiful palette to work with. And the silver accent in the model’s hair was the perfect finishing touch. Since orange is typically thought of as a Fall color, Francesca used the color is such a way that it makes it perfect for the Spring and Summer.
I’m loving the vein-like details on the front of this gown strategically placed for modesty. It brings to mind trees before they are blossoming in early spring. The sheer fabric on the dress is a great way to bring Fall colors into the Spring and Summer.
The design of this one is just flawless. The fabric flows down the runway like a dream. It’s amazing how she can make black and orange look chic and not “Halloween-like”.
Looking for a dress to wear for date night? Use this silhouette as inspiration. It’s sexy yet still leaves you wanting more.
I, of course, had to throw in this picture of Kelly Osbourne and her adorable pooch. And 3 points to whoever can name her celebrity friends she is with!
